Public Works to Conduct Seal Coat Street Maintenance Aug. 7-10
On August 7, 2017 City of Redmond Public Works Division will begin its summer seal coat project of city streets and cul-de-sacs throughout Redmond. Twenty-four street sections will be closed at various times between August 7-10, allowing crews to conduct this necessary maintenance project. The locations and schedule of the closures are listed online at redmondstreets.com. The project is scheduled to be completed by August 10, 2017, weather permitting.
“The purpose of this project is to help preserve Redmond’s well-maintained roads in residential areas,” states Transportation Division Manager Rob Peters. “Applying seal coats extends the life of streets, reducing the need for road construction in years to come.”
