The Redmond Committee for Art in Public Places(RCAPP) was created on May 23, 2006 for the purpose of introducing art into select public locations in order to create a unique sense of place and enhance community identity throughout Redmond.  RCAPP has worked with Redmond students on a number public art projects currently on display, including: The Yew Ave Roundabout, Hwy 126 Park Tunnel Mural, and display tiles at Centennial Park (clock tower & fireplace).

This is the second round of RCAPP’s student art project ‘Out of the Box’.  Last year students painted transportation themed murals on boxes at the following locations:

Corner of Hwy 97/Maple Ave (Baker Equipment)

Corner of Hwy 97/Oak Tree (Sonic)

Corner of Hwy 97/Quince Ave (Home Depot)
