2014 Redmond Bicycle & Pedestrian Count Day
CALLING VOLUNTEERS for the City of Redmond Bicycle and Pedestrian Counts
The City of Redmond Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) will be conducting the first ever bicycle and pedestrian counts and is seeking volunteers to help with the count! The purpose of the counts is to establish a baseline of bicycle and pedestrians users in the community and help build support for future improvements.
We need volunteers for two hour shifts to sit at designated locations and count users on Thursday, September 11th from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm and/or Saturday, September 13th from noon to 2pm. No experience is necessary and training and safety gear will be provided. Volunteers will be treated to a free pizza party! Please notify others who might be interested. If you have questions, please contact Scott Woodford with the City of Redmond either by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 541-923-7758
