Learn more about the community you live in!

Redmond has a rich historical heritage with its built environment and many of its finer examples are featured in the recently update Heritage Walking Tour Guide put together by the City’s Historic Landmarks Commission. The guide is a tour of 36 buildings and residences – most of which exhibit many of their original architectural features and range from early 20th Century up to World War II – also includes a map, historic photos, descriptions of each building’s history and “Did You Know?” Redmond trivia.

Best toured on foot to get the full effect, the tour can also be done by bicycle, scooter, wheelchair, Segway, long board, etc., etc., or by motorized vehicle. Whatever method you choose, please just grab one of the guides, get out there, have fun and learn something unique about your hometown.
