Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

The Redmond City Council approved the City’s participation in the Community Development Block Grant program. The City is expected to receive an estimated $178,127 during the 2014-2015 fiscal year.

New Permit Tracking and Inspection Request System for Building Division

In keeping with the City’s goal of continued enhancement of customer service, the Building Division is transitioning to a new permit tracking and inspection request software. The Building Division will be going live with the Accela system on February 3, 2014. Inspections can be scheduled by going to the City of Redmond homepage and clicking E-Permitting Accela Citizen Access under Quick Links on the right hand side of the page. Inspections can be also be scheduled using the IVR phone system by dialing (541) 923-7715.

Downtown Redmond Property Assistance Programs

Redmond’s Urban Renewal Agency has several grant and loan programs available to business and property owners in the Downtown Urban Renewal District, as well as a Free Design Assistance Program to help support downtown business and property owners invest in their properties.
