Horses Allowed on Soft Trails in North Canyon Trail System

Following a public hearing and decisions by both the Redmond City Council and Redmond Parks Commission, horses are now allowed to use the soft trails in the Dry Canyon between Black Butte Blvd. and the North Trailhead near Pershall. Equestrian access is limited to the trailhead at the north Canyon entrance and an area for trailer parking will be designated.

The Dry Canyon is a unique asset to the Redmond community and can be shared and enjoyed by all. The Public Works Parks Division will be updating signage with the following tips to make everyone’s trail experience safe and fun. Click here for Share the Trail Information and Trail Map.
