Daily, nonstop service begins Monday, June 12
REDMOND, Ore. – April 4, 2013 – At a press conference at the Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM), American Airlines announced it will offer nonstop service between RDM and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) beginning June 12. The new service will operate daily using a 50-seat Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft.

Redmond Municipal Airport Encourages Spring Break Travelers
to Arrive Early Due to Screening Checkpoint Changes
Passenger traffic thru Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) is anticipated to increase in March during spring break season. Due to the increased traffic and changes to the airport’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screening checkpoint travelers are encouraged to arrive 90 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time to check-in early as the airline ticket counters can close 30 minutes prior to departure times.

The landing fee at Redmond Municipal Airport will be Three Dollars and Forty-three Cents ($3.43) per 1000# of gross landing weight for calendar year 2013.

For Lease: The building is constructed on a concrete slab and has an eave height of 20 feet. It is approximately 60’ x 65’ and is a 4,200 square foot steel frame/metal sided airplane hangar, located at Roberts Field, Redmond, Oregon. Airport Solar Panels Information |

Solar panels have been installed on the terminal roof at Roberts Field as one of the energy saving ideas installed at the airport. Live data from the array is collected, sent off-site to be translated, then returned via the internet. The live data can be viewed by visiting the display inside the Terminal, through a link on the Airport's menu, or by visiting the monitoring site directly at http://live.deckmonitoring.com/?id=roberts_field_airport.

The FAA requires airports to periodically appraise property to review property valuations. Roberts Field's airside leases provide the opportunity to raise land costs based on these appraisals. The Redmond City Council, in the regularly scheduled May 12, 2009 meeting, accepted the Cushman & Wakefield of Portland appraisal for airside property at Roberts Field.
