On behalf of the men and women who serve the City of Redmond and Deschutes County Fire Protection District #1, welcome to our web site.

Redmond Fire & Rescue is made up of 43 full time members and 18 volunteers. We provide fire protection and advanced life support treatment and ambulance transport out of four fire stations. We also have a full service fire and life safety division.

I am very proud of the men and women that make up Redmond Fire & Rescue. I am also proud to be the Fire Chief for a wonderful group of people. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Redmond Fire & Rescue Annexation News:

In November, Redmond Fire & Rescue will be asking the City of Redmond voters to annex the fire department into Rural Fire District #1. A successful annexation will assure the residents of both Rural Fire District #1 and City of Redmond that their ambulance and fire services will remain the same as they are today. The annexation, if successful, would not increase property taxes and would allow residents of Rural District #1 and City of Redmond to be elected to the five person board, which would govern the new organizational structure.
