Budget Committee

The City of Redmond Budget Committee consists of seven members of the Redmond City Council and an equal number of citizens.  The Commitee is tasked with reviewing the proposed budget and amending it where desired.  The Budget Committee meetings are public meetings and an opportunity for citizen comment is available.  City staff attends the meetings to provide technical analysis and support to the committee.  At the conclusion of the budget meetings, the Committee approves a balanced budget that is forwarded to the City Council for adoption.

Budget Supplementals

Upon Council approval, mid-year budget adjustments may be permitted under Oregon Revised Statute 294.480 for unplanned costs and revenues.
