Click here for map The City of Redmond purchased the cemetery and land from the Redmond Cemetery Association in October 1919. There are over 4,500 burials in the Redmond Memorial Cemetery including Frank and Josephine Redmond for whom the town is named after, and Thomas Lawson McCall who was the Governor of Oregon from 1967 to 1975. The cemetery is divided into 11 sections with two columbariums. Our newest one completed in January of 2010. There are designated sections for babies, Veterans and their family members, the ‘Ash Gardens’ for inurnments, as well as the standard size plots for caskets. Approximately 20 acres encompass the cemetery and it is maintained by the Parks Division.
