Parks Commission

Mission Statement

To plan, develop and provide stewardship for City of Redmond’s parks and open spaces while preserving natural areas and maximizing public enjoyment.

The Parks Commission is involved in parks master planning, prioritizing park projects, setting objectives for park facilities and evaluating citizen requests for special park uses.  Every year the Parks Commission develops a list of goals and projects designed to meet these objectives.  The Commission also participates in the planning process for acquisitions of park land to meet community needs.
