As part of its mission to promote quality development now and in the future, the Community Development Department is committed to providing citizens of Redmond with art throughout the city. The Department provides staff support to the Redmond Commission for Art in Public Places in fulfillment of this goal. Meeting Information

The Redmond Commission for Art in Public Places currently meets the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in Conference Room A of City Hall (unless otherwise noted), located at 716 SW Evergreen Avenue. Meeting agendas and packets may be found on the Commission home page. They are typically posted one week prior to a scheduled meeting.

TipAnyone needing accommodation to participate in the meeting must notify Mike Viegas, ADA Coordinator, at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting at 541-504-3032, or through the Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) which enables people who have difficulty hearing or speaking in the telephone to communicate to standard voice telephone users. If anyone needs Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) or Speech To Speech (STS) assistance, please use one of the following TRS numbers: 1-800-735-2900 (voice or text), 1-877-735-7525 (STS English) or 1-800-735-3896 (STS Spanish).



Current Projects

  
Eastern “Y” Gateway Project
The Commission is working with artist, Jerry Werner to complete a piece of public art for placement at the Eastern “Y” of the Highland/Glacier couplet and the new Highway 97 Reroute. Art Around the Clock 
The Commission has developed the framework for an outdoor, annually rotating gallery with sculptures on 6th street, Centennial Park and City Hall. Please take a moment to learn more about the Gallery on its home page.
