Regular City Council Meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM at the City Council Chambers, 411 SW 9th Street in Redmond. Can’t attend?  Meetings are broadcast live on COTV 11 - BendBroadband Channel 11 beginning at 6:00 p.m. on regular meeting nights. Rebroadcasts are scheduled for the non-meeting Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m.

WANT TO SPEAK TO THE COUNCIL?

You can testify on an item on the formal agenda or you can also sign up to testify on an item not listed on the agenda at either the beginning of the meeting or near the end (during “Public Comment”). To do so, come to City Hall during a Council night and when you enter the Council Chambers sign-up cards will be available. Simply complete the card, hand it to the Council Recorder, and the Mayor will call your name during the course of the meeting. Each member of the public is generally provided 3-minutes to address the Council.

Please note, it is the role of the Council to listen and not necessarily engage with those providing testimony. However, they will usually direct you to staff to assist with follow up (as necessary).

Agendas, minutes and additional meeting information may be found on the Meeting Agendas, Minutes & Video page.

Anyone needing accommodation to participate in the meeting must notify the ADA Coordinator at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting at 541-504-3036, access@ci.redmond.or.us, or through the Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) which enables people who have difficulty hearing or speaking in the telephone to communicate to standard voice telephone users. If anyone needs Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) or Speech To Speech (STS) assistance, please use one of the following TRS numbers: 1-800-735-2900 (voice or text), 1-877-735-7525 (STS English) or 1-800-735-3896 (STS Spanish).
