|Councilor, Tory Allman
I was born in Eugene, Oregon shortly after my father got out of the Army. He then went to seminary in Portland, Oregon and went back into the military as a chaplain in the Air Force. From there we moved around quite a bit. We ended up back in Oregon where I graduated from Coquille High School and went on to get a BS degree from Oregon State University.
After graduating I spent several years overseas and ended up coming back to the States and working in southern California where I met my wife Cathie. We honeymooned at the Inn of the 7th Mountain in the fall, and we both fell in love with central Oregon. When our daughter, Kadie, graduated from high school we started looking for an opportunity to move to central Oregon. I was blessed to be offered the position of general manager at the Cent-Wise Sporting Goods and Hardware store in Redmond. I accepted the position and we moved to Redmond in January of 2005 with our son, Terrik, who is currently attending Ridgeview High School.
My whole family has been very involved in our community since we moved here, volunteering and serving with many organizations. I'm a past president of the Redmond Kiwanis, and have served on several City committees and commissions. I'm now in my second term as a City Councilor and enjoy the opportunity to serve our wonderful community.
