The City of Redmond Budget Committee consists of seven members of the Redmond City Council and an equal number of citizens. The committee is tasked with reviewing the proposed budget and amending it where desired. The Budget Committee meetings are public meetings and an opportunity for citizen comment is available. City staff attends the meetings to provide technical analysis and support to the committee. At the conclusion of the budget meetings, the Committee approves a balanced budget that is forwarded to the City Council for adoption.

BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS AFTER APPROVAL AND ADOPTION
Oregon Revised Statute (ORS) 294.463 allows for the transfer of appropriations between existing categories within a fund when authorized by resolution of the governing body.
Supplement budgets are permitted under ORS 294.471. Per ORS 294.471 a notice of the meeting to discuss a supplemental budget is published greater than or equal to 5 days before the meeting.
