Master plans for the City of Redmond designate how new developments will be served by water, wastewater and transportation infrastructure, but in some areas that infrastructure is not readily available. For example, property to the west of SW 35th Street is designated to be served by the Far West Sewer Interceptor, but that line is not yet in place. Modeling of the wastewater system indicates that there is some excess capacity in Sewer Line D which runs in SW 35th Street. The City will consider applications to use that excess capacity under certain conditions. The requirements for allocation of excess capacity are outlined in the Excess Capacity Infrastructure Allocation Policy. Please click here to access the Infrastructure Allocation Analysis application.
